Tire Technician

Tire Technician Job Description: American Factory Wheel (AFW), San Diego’s premier wheel repair company, is seeking a Tire Technician. While at least one year of tire experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate. The ideal applicant should know how to mount and dismount tires and be eager to learn how to structurally and cosmetically repair wheels. This role includes the opportunity to apprentice under our lead Wheel Repair Technician, gaining hands-on experience in welding, machining, and powder coating wheels.

Responsibilities:

Mount, dismount, and balance tires.

Lift vehicles and securely place them on jack stands.

Prep wheels for repairs.

Apprentice under the lead Wheel Repair Technician.

Provide helpful, friendly, and responsive customer service.

Skills:

Tire experience preferred, but not required; willing to train.

Knowledge of power tools.

Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects safely.

Capable of working well in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Dedicated, reliable, and eager to learn.
