Part Time Warehouse Help/Box Truck Delivery Driver

Honeysuckle Gelato is looking for one PART TIME warehouse help/delivery driver. Hours are between 15-32 hours a week currently.

DO NOT REACH OUT IF YOU NEED FULL-TIME. This is NOT a full-time position.

MUST have experience driving a larger van and/or truck for delivery purposes. We have a box truck with a lift gate that we use for deliveries.

MUST have time management and customer service skills.

SHIFTS ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY. Daily shifts can range from 5-14 hours depending on route.

Position is for both in-town AND out of state deliveries. Out of state deliveries are all same day trips (up, deliver and back. 10-14 hour shift).

Someone with OPEN AVAILABILITY to work any combo of days M-F would be best.

Pay starts at $17 an hour. $255-$544 a week before taxes. This is a W2 position only. Paid bi-weekly.

Position requirements:

The employee to be qualified as to visual, auditory, physical, and mental ability to operate equipment safely with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be 21 years or older.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record in compliance with our driver policy

Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds

Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures

Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service

Responsibilities:

Drive a box truck under 10,000 pounds during our routes while making 5-12 deliveries

Make on time deliveries at our customer's locations while in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle you're driving for the day

You can expect to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout your shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds

Able to assist in the loading/unloading of trucks

Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management

Light warehouse cleaning and organizing
