Located in North Woodstock, NH, in the heart of the White Mountains, Lumen Nature Retreat is a year-round cabins and glamping-style hospitality destination.

We’re looking for a dedicated Full-Time Maintenance & Operations Specialist to join our team to help keep our property in great shape and ensure our guests have an outstanding experience during their stay.

==About the Role==

As a Maintenance & Operations Specialist, you’ll be responsible for general property upkeep, small to medium repairs, landscaping, and supporting hospitality operations. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining a well-functioning, beautiful destination for our guests.

Schedule: Full-time

Salary: $54,000 per year (starting on a 1099 basis and eligible for a W2 after a probationary period)

Benefits: Paid Time Off (10 days per year)

==Responsibilities==

Property & Structures Maintenance:

-Perform general maintenance and minor repairs on cabins, tents, and common areas.

-Assist with larger repairs and projects as needed.

-Power wash the bathhouse and other structures as required.

-Landscaping & Seasonal Maintenance

-Maintain roads, pathways, and surrounding areas.

-Mow lawns, handle pest control, and remove snow during winter.

-Clear brush, rake leaves, and keep trails hazard-free.

Housekeeping & Contractor Coordination:

-Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure all accommodations are guest-ready.

-Assist with unit turnovers and/or laundry when necessary.

-Support and coordinate with external contractors as needed.

Daily Turnover Tasks:

-Ensure outdoor areas are clean after guest checkouts.

-Conduct quality control checks after housekeeping turnovers.

-Inspect and address maintenance needs in the bathhouse.

Supplies & Inventory:

-Conduct monthly inventories of maintenance and retail supplies

-Process inbound shipments of supplies

-Handle occasional outbound shipments or deliveries

-Restock firewood and other retail supplies for guests

Operations & Guest Support:

-Assist Remote Operations Team to address guest concerns.

-Assist General Manager to ensure smooth operations.

-Troubleshoot locks, cameras, and other property devices.

-Help keep property vehicles in good working order and condition.

-Assist in handling any on-site guest issues.

Seasonal Transitions:

-Prepare the property for seasonal transitions (Spring Opening and Winterization).

-Assist with construction, renovations, and storage of glamping furnishings.

==What We’re Looking For==

- Carpentry and general handyman skills.

- Landscaping experience or knowledge.

- Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment.

- Strong communication skills.

- Comfortable using smartphone apps for work tasks.

- Reliable vehicle.
