Art & Soul Studio - Summer Camp Art Teacher Needed

Art & Soul Studio is a vibrant, creative space dedicated to inspiring new and old artists. We offer a variety of classes and workshops throughout the year. Our Summer Art Camp program provides a fun, hands-on environment for kids to explore their creativity.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, creative individual to join our team as a part-time Summer Art Camp Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, a strong artistic background and the ability to guide young artists in a vareity of creative projects. As the Art Teacher, you will lead daily art activities, provide instruction, and create a positive, encoraging atmosphere where campers can explore their artistic talents.

Key Responsibilities:

-Organize and lead daily art lessons and activities for campers (ages 5-12).

-Teach a variety of art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media.

-Foster a fun, supportive and inclusive environment that encourages creative exploration.

-Manage classroom materials and ensure that all supplies are prepared and organized.

-Encourage campers to develop their individual artistic styles and ideas.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience teaching or working with children, ideally in an art or creative setting.

-Passion for working with kids and encouraging their artistic growth.

-Ability to manage a group of children in a positive, engaging, and disciplined manner.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Degree or coursework in art, education or a related field is required.
