Casual Dining Cook Wanted

Backroads Pub & Grub is seeking a motivated cook to join our kitchen staff. We are looking to fill around 30 hours a week. Weekends are a must, both evening and day shifts.

Our kitchen opens at 9am and closes at 9pm on weekdays and 10pm on the weekends.

Starting at $19/hour + tips, possibility of $1 an hour raise after 90 days.

Experience:

-Makes burgers, sandwiches, fryer food, the occasional steak, breakfast, soups, and other casual dining menu items

-Does side work, prep, and cleans kitchen

-Dates and rotates food

- Knowledge of food safety practices/ food handlers card

- Proficiency in working with knives and kitchen equipment

- Ability to work well as the only cook on shift once trained

-has reliable transportation, is punctual, can communicate with other staff members, and is a team player.
