Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a meticulous and diligent Accounting Clerk to join our team located in Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will be handling a variety of tasks from processing customer credit applications to answering phones and providing administrative support. This is a contract to permanent opportunity where you will be working in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities: Accurately process and enter invoices, focusing on accounts payable Manage customer credit applications with precision and efficiency Maintain and update customer credit records regularly Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member Provide miscellaneous administrative support as needed Update pipelines for the sales department regularly Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations Competency in Accounts Receivable (AR) management Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing Strong skills in Data Entry tasks Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for accounting tasks Familiarity with QuickBooks software for accounting operations Experience in using Quickbooks Online for financial management Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
