Home Caregiver, 15 hours weekly

Looking for a home health worker with a strong work ethic to provide assistance in LaFayette for a 90 year old man with dementia, incontinence and limited mobility. He is currently bedbound. Prior experience with similar clients is desired. Duties include but are not limited to:

-giving a bed bath or shower, shaving, grooming and other hygiene care

-changing diaper or pull up in bed, or help with toileting in bathroom if he is able

-assistance in transferring, turning and positioning client

-meal preparation as directed, and assistance with meals

-laundry and help with dressing

-light cleaning/tidying up

Shifts are 8:00am-11:00am Monday through Friday. Hours could be adjusted slightly to fit your schedule. Substitute hours may be available evenings and weekends. Compensation is $22 an hour. Family would consider hiring more than one assistant in order to cover all shifts.

Candidates will need reliable transportation. Position begins immediately.
