We are seeking Line Cook position Full-Time in downtown Tampa. FREE PARKING. This position is responsible for making sure the food is prepared to the exact specifications of the chef, establishment and the customer. They will follow all health and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Works in full coordination with the Executive and/or Head chef.

Prepares food for service, chopping vegetables, butchering meat and/or prepares sauces.

Stocks and manages assigned food station(s) with / and all necessary supplies.

Understands and adheres to the company’s policy and processes, cooking methods, standard portion sizes, kitchen rules and quality standards.

Ensures that the food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.

Ensures the workstation area is kept clean and sanitized following safety and sanitation policies and processes of the company.

Properly stores, rotates and manages all food products following local, state, federal and company guidelines and procedures.

Complies with nutrition, sanitation regulations and safety standards.

Maintains a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Education:

Minimum requirement: High School Diploma

Skills: Able to work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy in executing assigned tasks from the directions of the chef without hesitation and having an excellent understanding of various cooking methods. Must possess strong knowledge of cooking practice, including handling knives, using commercial kitchen equipment and ensuring safety of food. Have a high commitment for quality and job satisfaction, communication and customer service skills.

Work Schedule:

Open 6 days a week

9 to 10 hr shifts

Weekends Required

SUNDAYS MANDATORY

Physical Requirements: Must have the ability to work while on your feet for ten plus hours at a stretch, standing for prolonged periods. Position requires the ability to lift 40+ lbs., cans and other bulk food items on a regular basis. Manual dexterity is required with the ability to bend, twist, stoop to retrieve from lower shelves and the ability to reach or climb to retrieve inventory.
