Painter/Handyman with OSHA 10

We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Painter/Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting, applying joint compound, installing VCT tiles and general maintenance skills. This role requires the ability to work independently and travel to different sites with own vehicle. The Painter will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes on various surfaces, ensuring that all work meets our standards of excellence. Must be able to work under pressure to complete work quickly on time.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.

- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

- Install fixtures and perform minor renovations as required.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

- Interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of design specifications.

- Conduct repairs on drywall as necessary.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role within the construction or renovation industry.

- Proficiency in using power and hand tools related to painting and renovation tasks.

- Familiarity with fixture installation processes and techniques.

- Strong understanding of drywall repair methods.

- Ability to read and interpret project specifications accurately.

- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently or within a team environment.
