Hair stylist / Hair Colorist and Associate Stylist

We are looking to grow our team at the Hair Parlor on 8th!

We are looking for (1) associate Stylist and (2) experienced Stylists + Colorists with proven hair styling and coloring experience and whom has a client base in LA.

The Hair Parlor on 8th is a beautiful salon rooted in the art deco era of Los Angeles, that is well established in our community of Hollywood, West Hollywood, Mid - City, Miracle Mile, West LA, Hancock Park and Carthay Square/ Beverlywood.

The salon retails Davines and Cult & King and primarily uses Redken Color.

We specialize in cuts, color and lightening services. We also offer all extension services and many smoothing services.

The salon is spacious and private with 5 wash stations, a waiting area, a comfortable break room, washing station and additional restroom for the team.

We additionally have an outdoor space for our team and guests that can be used as one sees fit, weather depending, and upon needs. One can relax, have break or even do hair services in this private outdoor section of the salon.

We offer refreshments and drinks, snacks, hot towels and other luxury comforts. The effort is on the clients and guest experience and high quality services.

We offer parking permits for guests and stylists to park in our neighborhood.

An ideal candidate is someone who is motivated, driven and an industrious team members that wants to continue building their clientele with us in a supportive team environment and who values quality and customer care and who is always looking to keep learning and growing in their career.

The stylist position is requiring 5 years of in salon experience with a base clientele, who can work well with others and in a team. You must handle guests with excellent communication skills and be able to educate and provide all color and hair cutting services.

A competitive commission system available based on production and skill, with options for growth through independence and business opportunities, as well as partially paid extended education of your choice.

The associate Stylist position is for any licensed hair stylist who is reliable and good with communication and who is passionate about hair and their career. The position offers training and reliable hours as well as time for models and in-salon classes.

We are a small team focused in a high end environment and service experience. We focus on quality.
