English Tutor in Shanghai, China

IBG Academy is seeking an English tutor now!

Job Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high quality Junior English (grammar, vocabulary, literature), Academic writing, and test prep (TOEFL/SSAT, etc) lessons to G5-10 international school students in Shanghai.

2. Monitor progress and provide regular feedback on students' performance after each class.

3. Prepare and update all lesson plans, teaching materials, homework, mock tests.

4. Keep good communication internally with the team in delivering excellent customer service.

5. Support local marketing promotion work when needed.

6. Work during after school times, weekends, holidays.

Job Qualifications:

1. English speakers with a near native language proficiency, ABC or ABK candidates preferred.

2. Minimum 1 year experience of English (EAL/EFL), academic writing tutoring and/or TOEFL/SSAT test prep.

3. The Candidate must enjoy working with students from G5 to G10.

4. Bachelor (or above) Degree in English literature, English education or related majors from top universities preferred.

5. Basic computer/IT skills to make teaching plans, materials, etc.

Working hours:

- Flexible work hours

- No office hours required after a successful probation

Job Location: Shanghai, China. Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
