Private Caregiver WANTED : Morning Shift 7am-1pm, 3 days/week

HIRING : for Private Home in POWAY. (6 hour shift)

7 am - 1 pm Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

We are currently looking for a Caregiver (fluent in English) to join our team in a private home in Poway. We provide care for a married couple in their 80s, their 4 dogs and 1 cat so this would be a great position for animal lovers!

You will be joining a great team of caregivers, so a positive attitude and team mentality is a must! We are a fun, relaxed team but we work hard to take great care of our Employer's home and family!

We need a hard worker who does not just sit - as our team likes to stay busy and share the workload

Compensation: Starts at $22/hour and increases to $25 after probationary period.

Shift: 7am - 1 pm (6 hour shift) Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays = 3 days/week

JOB DESCRIPTION:

7 am start time for the Morning shift. Punctuality is VERY IMPORTANT, please be able to consistently arrive to work on-time. (We have night-shift that leaves at 7 am)

Please have a reliable vehicle and active Driver's License

Duties include but are not limited to:

Serving breakfast to 4 dogs and 1 cat

AM cleaning duties - cleaning up dog messes, cat box, cleaning toilets and restocking bathroom supplies. House-keeping, dishes, laundry, upkeep and inventory.

Preparing and serving breakfast to homeowners (husband and wife). Clean-up of all human and dog dishes. Clean kitchen.

Daily tasks are shared between the two(2) AM caregivers:

House-keeping

Walking dogs

Brushing/hygiene for dogs

Medication administration and reminders

Weekly bedding changes

Showers

Cleaning up pet messes

Cognitive care and support for Husband with Dementia

Assistance for Wife with mobility concerns

Assist homeowners with ADLs and daily needs, assist with hygiene, showers, shaving, scheduling medical appointments, taking to medical appointments, shopping and some errands, technology help etc. Husband has dementia and wife has mobility concerns. We would love to add an experienced caregiver to the team!
