Groundskeeper - Inn at Occidental

The Inn at Occidental is searching for a groundskeeper to work with us part-time, 2-3 days per week, at our boutique Inn located in downtown Occidental. Your primary job will be to keep the hotels' outdoor areas looking clean and pristine for our guests. We love our Inn and are searching for a groundskeeper who will take pride in caring for and continually improving the property.

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

Landscaping - Leaf Blowing, Weed Eating, Clearing, Pruning & Gardening, Light Tree Trimming, Irrigation Lines

Facilities - Power Washing, Painting, Basic Maintenance, Hot Tub and fountain Maintenance

Events - Setup, Breakdown, Arranging Furniture, Moving Supplies

Possibly Some Limited Kitchen Duties - Dishwashing, Clearing Tables

Experience, requirements, and desired skills:

Groundskeeping or maintenance experience desired

Light carpentry, tile, electrical and plumbing skills a plus, but not required

Must be able to lift and move heavy items including planters and outdoor furniture

Valid drivers license and SSN required as you will be a W2 employee

Must have reliable transportation, a truck is a plus

Must have good communication and organizational skills
