Maintaince Technician
We are currently looking for a maintenance tech to join our team This person will perform repair and maintenance of HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems, plumbing, grounds,
Responsibilities:
Able to work full-time, 5 days per week between Mondays and Saturdays (on rotation for Saturday).
Able to take after-hours calls (on rotation).
Plumbing, water tank and electrical knowledge a plus.
Must be comfortable using computers.
Self-starter who sticks with projects to ensure execution.
Enjoy keeping many balls in the air within a high-paced, high-demand environment.
Professional and calm when talking to team members and residents.
Very organized and a finisher.
Maintain a preventative maintenance program that extends the life of the asset while minimizing future repairs.
Manage maintenance supply inventory while adhering to budget guidelines.
Participate in weekly/monthly unit inspections as required.
Position requires individuals to be able to use general maintenance equipment including, but not limited to, hand tools, ladders, snow blower and other equipment necessary to complete the job.Qualifications:
Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
CPO certified preferred
Experience:
Apartment Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
Maintain Universal EPA Designation / Certification
Physical Activities:
Position requires ability to transport or move up to 50 pounds variable distances.
Use of ladders to access heights in excess of eight to nine feet.
The ability to work outdoors in temperatures exceeding 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit.
Ability to personally perform general maintenance repair tasks without endangering themselves, residents or fellow employees.
Frequent bending and/or stooping to access equipment and machinery necessary when assisting with or performing tasks.
