The role is responsible for ensuring smooth running of the Mining operation within area of responsibility, Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:Responsible for maintenance and repair of equipment and machines in order to ensure the availability thereofResponsible for engineering technical complianceAdhering to all safety and health standardsPromoting and maintaining good housekeeping within area of responsibilityThe incumbent will be required to work shifts, standbysWorking overtime when required/ standby and shiftAdhering to the Thungela Code of ConductEnsuring application of Thungela Coal Operational and Engineering Codes of Practices, Policies and Procedures
