Soccer Coach

Looking for a Head Soccer Coach for our Program

Location: Indian Trail, NC 28079 off of Independence Blvd

Job Type: Currently 2 days a week (Mon and Wed), 2 hours each day in the afternoon (after 5pm).

Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable soccer coach to lead training sessions and develop young athletes. We need someone who has previous coaching experience and can work with both our soccer fundamentals class (5 and 6 years old) and our older kids (7-12 years old).

We want someone who is going to be driven to grow the program, who can interact well with the parents of the kids, and just has general initiative and creativity creating tournament opportunities for the kids on some weekends, inspired coaching and class ideas, etc etc.

Due to the front-facing aspect of the role with parents we are not looking for younger people. If you are a student or young adult yourself and are a good player/coach maybe we will consider you for an assistant role in the coming months but not for this.

Responsibilities:

Plan and lead soccer training sessions every week on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Teach soccer skills, strategy, and teamwork.

Create engaging and developmentally appropriate drills and exercises.

Provide constructive feedback to players to enhance their skills.

Ensure a safe and positive environment for all participants.

Communicate effectively with parents and players.

(Optional: Run soccer summer camps in the summer)

Requirements:

Prior experience coaching soccer.

Ability to work with kids of various skill levels.

CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).

Compensation:

$35 a hour, and can go up if the program grows
