We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Pediatrics Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support pediatricians and healthcare providers by performing administrative and clinical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the pediatric practice. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of child development, and the ability to create a welcoming and reassuring environment for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist pediatricians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.

Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints of pediatric patients.

Administer vaccines, medications, and other treatments as directed by the physician.

Perform basic laboratory tests, collect and process specimens, and assist with diagnostic procedures.

Provide support and reassurance to children and families during medical procedures.

Prepare examination rooms and ensure all medical supplies and equipment are stocked and sanitized.

Adhere to all healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and confidentiality policies (HIPAA).Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or medical assistant certification preferred.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential preferred.

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pediatric or family practice setting preferred.

Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical software.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with children.

Knowledge of pediatric immunization schedules, growth and development milestones, and common childhood illnesses.

Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
