High-end residential and remodeling firms are looking to immediately hire an experienced Carpenter, Foreman, or craftsman to build additions, new builds, remodels, kitchens, baths, etc.

Steady full-time work with a busy, established firm.

Must have own hand tools and car or preferably truck. A valid driver's LICENSE and social security card is required for this position.

Salary/ Rate is based on experience—35 to $40 per hour.

If you are a craftsman, you are preferred. That would be cutting stairs, railings, complex trim, island, and pick-up work in an efficient timeframe.

Master Craftsmen can start at $40 per hour, based on experience and efficiency. The minimum experience is 7 years.

Current projects are located in Anacortes, Conway, Mt. Vernon, Burlington, and Bow.

Upcoming Anacortes x2, Mt. Vernon x2, Lake Cavanaugh.

The basic tools required were hand tools, a saw, a drill, and an impact cordless tool with an oscillating tool.

A truck with a rack is worth more per hour.

Signing Bonus. A $500.00 signing bonus will be paid following the employee's probationary period.

Employee Benefits. There is a three-month probationary period to qualify for the signing bonus.

Paid Time Off (PTO). Employee shall be entitled to paid time off in the amount of .02 hours per hour worked. If all possible work hours are worked in a year at this rate, it will add up to 40 hours of PTO. PTO does not accrue on holidays or PTO hours used. PTO begins accruing on the 1st day of employment, and accumulated time is available on the 90th day of employment.

Additional PTO. Each year, the rate for PTO will increase to allow up to 10 more hours of PTO to be earned each year. In year 4, the rate is capped at .04 hours per hour worked. This rate allows for 80 PTO hours to be earned each year.

Rollover and Payout. A maximum of 80 hours may be rolled over at year's end. Any over 80 hours accrued will be paid out to the employee by March 31st of the new year. Unused PTO will be paid at the end of employment following one year of employment.

Cell Phone. Employees receive $15 monthly in cell phone compensation after the probationary period. Employees must be full-time (working over 32 hours per week) to receive this benefit. Cell phone compensation increases to $35 per month in the third year of employment. Depending on the position, a company cell phone may be issued at the employer's discretion.

Holiday Pay. Employee shall receive four (4) paid Holidays after the 90-day probation period. New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day are holidays included. The employee must be full-time to receive full Holiday pay (8 hours per Holiday). Part-time employees (working 20-32 hours per week) will receive 1⁄2 Holiday pay (4 hours per Holiday).

Company expense.

Mileage at the standard IRS rate, not including the daily commute to the first site/office or from the last site/office back to your home. A detailed mileage log must be submitted on a monthly basis to receive reimbursement once a month. Mileage reimbursement is not an employer requirement by the state of Washington or the Federal government.
