Certified Payroll Specialist/Accounting Assistant
Snipes-Dye Associates, a Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Firm in La Mesa, CA is seeking an experienced certified payroll specialist that can also assist with accounting and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include certified payroll compliance & reporting, accounting support- AR, AP, Payroll, etc., and administrative duties- filing, phones, maintaining office supplies, etc. We are looking for a candidate that is flexible and willing to assist where needed.
This position is 100% in office, and reasonable and flexible hours would be considered. This is a permanent part-time position with a minimum of 20 hours per week, up to 40 hours when additional team support is needed. As a permanent part-time employee, the candidate would receive paid vacation and holidays on a pro rata basis of hours worked.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with LCP tracker, DIR, etc.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Proficiency in navigating accounting software, preferably Deltek/Ajera.
Intermediate knowledge in bookkeeping/accounting.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Salary range $26-$35/hour, DOE.
