Assistant Facilities Technician

Available starting March 1, 2025

Part-time (20 hours per week)

Starting at $27-$30/hour, depending on experience, with benefits, including: medical, dental, PTO, 401K

Assistant Facilities Technician reports directly to the Facilities Manager of COMMON GROUND and assists with management of all buildings, infrastructure and gardens located at COMMON GROUND KAUA`I.

Responsibilities Include:

● Work with Facilities Manager to oversee building and grounds maintenance

● Assist with inspecting and repairing electrical and plumbing services

● Assist with inspecting and repairing agricultural and potable water systems

● Maintain adequate parts inventory and order replacement parts as necessary

● Ensure facilities are always clean

● Manage waste disposal systems

● Work with Facilities Manager to ensure a constant security presence

● Assist with management of parking facilities

● Working with CG tenants to ensure facilities are in proper working order.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Heavy equipment operation and maintenance

● Basic knowledge of electrical systems

● Knowledge of relevant OSHA and safety standards

● Must possess a positive attitude

● Must be able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English

● Minimum 2-3 years experience in similar position

● Candidate must possess a valid Drivers License
