JET SKI & PADDLE BOARD ATTENDANT (May - Oct)

As a Boat Rental Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring that each guest has a memorable and enjoyable experience on the water. Your primary duties will include welcoming guests, assisting with the rental process, providing information about our boats and local waterways, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. This role requires a combination of excellent customer service skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for boating.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Reception: Greet and assist customers upon arrival, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Answer any questions they may have about the rental process, available boats, and local attractions.

Rental Process: Facilitate the boat rental process by explaining rental agreements, safety procedures, and operational guidelines to customers. Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.

Safety Orientation: Provide thorough safety briefings and operational instructions to customers before they embark on their boating adventure. Ensure all safety equipment is available and correctly utilized.

Customer Support: Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, providing solutions to enhance their boating experience. Maintain a positive attitude, even in high-pressure situations.

Boat Maintenance: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of rental boats, ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and ready for use. Report any maintenance or safety issues to management.

Local Knowledge: Share knowledge about local waterways, popular boating routes, and nearby attractions to help customers plan their outings. Provide recommendations and insights for a better experience.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or related fields is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of boating regulations, safety protocols, and local waterways is a plus.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and some holidays.

Passion for boating and outdoor activities is highly desirable.

CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
