Overnight Direct Care Staff - CTR/ITR Programs - Part-Time + Full-Time

Job Summary:Join Centerboard's Youth Services Team as a Direct Care Staff Member and make a lasting impact on the lives of young individuals. In this role, you will help create a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment where youth can develop healthier coping strategies. You will support residents with daily activities, offer guidance, and ensure their well-being while promoting a positive, respectful atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include direct youth support, documentation, crisis intervention, and maintaining facility cleanliness. We are looking for candidates who are ready and willing to work overnight shifts.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct care and supervision to youth, supporting daily activities (transportation, medical appointments, school, etc.).Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions, incidents, and progress notes.Implement Behavior Management Techniques and respond to crises.Build positive, supportive relationships with residents, staff, and stakeholders.Assist with cooking meals, conducting group activities, and facilitating life skills lessons.Ensure the safety of the residents and facility, including conducting room searches and managing medication administration.Coordinate with other programs for coverage during high-need times and support youth during field trips.Ensure program policies are followed, and participate in ongoing training.Qualifications:High School Diploma (Bachelor’s or some college preferred).Experience working with youth in a residential setting.Strong communication and organizational skills.Valid driver’s license and the ability to transport youth when needed.Willingness to engage in diversity, equity, and inclusion training.Overnight Shift Specifics:Conduct 15-minute checks throughout the night.Maintain building security, document activities, and ensure youth safety.Ensure the facility is clean and provide morning transportation.Training & Skills:Attendance at required training (CPR, MAP, Trauma-Informed Care, etc.).Must complete ongoing training to maintain certifications.Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and adapt in a dynamic environment.Be part of a team that helps youth build a brighter future!
