Customer Service Representative – Job Description
Serves customers by providing product and service information; acts as a liaison between customers and companies, assists with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, billing, cancelations, and other queries; and resolves product and service problems. Customer service jobs may have a variety of shifts and incorporate numerous methods including a call center environment or face to face interaction.
Responsibilities:
Order Processing / Shipping
Entering customer orders into the system
Communicate with pickers to ensure orders are processed within the given timeframe
Process orders for shipping, including creating courier labels, arranging carrier pick-ups, and generating all necessary documents for shipping
Manage customer inquiries via phone and email, responding to requests in a timely manner
Additional Duties:
Maintain organized presentation of front office
Support our team environment, by aiding colleagues during peak season, or with unexpected projects as required
Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and co-workers at all times.
Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
Communicating with customers through various channels.
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
Knowing our products inside and out so that you can answer questions.
Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
Maintain strong communication with all members of the team
Manage in an organized fashion all transaction e-mails that are sent to your computer
Take charge of any receiving schedule delays and communicate with Customer of any addition fee’s that apply
Billing – you are responsible for the billing and capturing of all applicable fees for each customer
