Trailer Mechanic

We are looking for a self-motivated and organized mechanic who is experienced, detail-oriented, and committed to safety. In this role, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance on trailers and diagnosing and repairing any mechanical and electrical issues they may have. It's also your job to make sure that all of our trailers are running smoothly and safely. The ideal candidate for this job will also have some experience with light engine maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities:

Perform thorough inspections of trailers to identify potential problems.

Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults on trailers.

Replace broken or worn parts, such as brakes, tires, suspension components, and wiring.

Conduct routine maintenance, including lubrication and checking fluid levels.

Utilize welding and fabrication skills to repair certain problems.

Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.

Adhere to all safety protocols while working on trailers.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Basic understanding of electrical systems.

Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

Attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems efficiently.

Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of trailer systems.

Welding skills may be beneficial.
