Commercial Project Superintendent

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Project Superintendent to provide on-site-coordination for all phases of projects. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all trades and effectively managing daily on-site activities. Must possess the knowledge, experience and confidence to engage and professionally interact with the design professionals, consultants and client while successfully directing the subcontractors and other construction related personnel in planning, coordinating and safely executing the work in accordance with the contract documents, schedule and budget.

Responsibilities :

Schedule, coordinate, and manage the daily construction activities and inspections.

Ensure that projects are built to requirements and specifications established by construction drawings, building codes, and clients.

Monitor production schedules, critical paths for projects, and trade contractor schedules to ensure timely project completion.

Monitor project quality and cost control.

Assume overall responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe project site.

Guide and direct field employees, trade contractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications :

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Understanding of site grading and site improvements

Minimum 5 years professional experience in construction and/or construction management.

Knowledgeable in all commercial type projects, scope review, project schedule and plan reading.

Ability to prioritize and manage own time.

Strong leadership skills.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.

OSHA Certified a plus
