Linux Expert + Autonomous Driver Expert

We have an exiting opportunity to work with a world class technology company. This would be a long term/open ended contract/temp assignment.

MUST display an Expert level knowledge of Linux QNX and Unix command lines.

MUST be an expert level driver with experience driving autonomous vehicles and pass an intense safety course

What you are doing:

The driver for all AV vehicles is responsible for conducting daily vehicle pre trip inspections and performing system calibrations.

Collaborate with developers and test operators on autonomous testing plans.

Operate company and partner test vehicles with engineers, developers, and test operators to perform autonomous vehicle testing.

Drive all test vehicles in safe manner and in accordance with local laws and company processes.

Be able to physically assist engineers with set up and testing of NCAP test equipment.

Coordinating with members of Drive Ops, and AV team daily to ensure data integrity, proper data transfer, and management of

routes is critical.

What we need to see:

Licensed for at least 3 years with a clear driving record

Must be detail oriented and able to provide concise written and oral feedback to the Drive Ops and engineering teams.

Good troubleshooting skills to debug the issues and follow the instructions

Prior knowledge of Autonomous Vehicles/self-driving car features like ACC, lane keep, active safety, and parking

In order to pass the safety course set on a racetrack, you will need to have expert skills with the ability to drive at high speeds, drift, handle wet track conditions, and hand a vehicle maneuvering through safety cones.
