Draftsman
American Upholstery Design is looking for a Draftsman. Candidates must be bilingual with English and Spanish, have experience in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and proficient in Carpentry and Furniture Design. Candidate must have a valid US workers' permit. The Draftsman's responsibilities will include:
-Reviewing designer specifications and provide shop drawings as to how the furniture is going to be fabricated.
-Provide 3D assembly drawings for the carpenters.
-Using the assembly drawings to prepare a cut list for the CNC.
-Oversee the production of the furniture from beginning to end, to make sure the furniture is being fabricated as per the approved drawings.
