Class-A Tractor Trailer Driver

Overview:

We are seeking, A TRULY HONEST, reliable, hardworking and experienced CDL Class- A Truck Driver (8+ years' experience) to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be driving under the authority of STG Logistics (mainly southeast). Seeking a driver that has intermodal experience.

- Truck Driver must be based in the Atlanta, GA metro area-no exceptions!

Driver will be home most nights mainly working Monday-Friday, maybe some Saturdays.

Driver must have a current TWIC card.

Driver must have own transportationcannot take the truck home-no exceptions!

- Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or delays

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members

- Handle paperwork such as bills of lading, delivery receipts, and other transportation-related documents

Requirements:

Able to use software tools efficiently to input pertinent information.

Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.

- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents within the past 5 years.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and with others.

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check which includes a Drug Screening-NO EXCEPTIONS! Also, must be a NON-SMOKER!
