Cleaning Technicians play an important role within our company as they are responsible for cleaning people's personal property as well as their homes or businesses. They follow specific protocols while performing their duties and are detailed cleaners. Our restoration team members do not just perform daily activities, and we help people get back home and back in business. If you are interested, please send us your resume for consideration!

Responsibilities include:

Occasionally drive a company vehicle to customers homes and businesses throughout Chicago and the South & West Suburbs

Load and unload equipment and supplies from the vehicle to the worksite

Clear the work site by moving or covering furniture

Photograph, document, and inventory personal property

Safely pack and remove personal property from the job site and unload it at the warehouse

Test clean contents to determine the best cleaning method

Thoroughly clean contents

Safely pack clean contents into a storage vault

Clean all surfaces in homes and businesses after a fire or smoke loss

Clean equipment

Perform other duties as assigned

Show up on time, in a uniform, and ready to work

Comply with all verbal and written safety practices, including the use and maintenance of personal protective equipment

Maintain a professional appearance

Qualifications for this position:

High School diploma or equivalent

IICRC certifications are not required but a plus

Fork list experience is not required but a plus

Previous cleaning background is required

Be willing to obtain certifications to further your education in this industry

Ability to use an iPad, smartphone, and email

Aptitude for learning new technology and software - app on a smartphone and inventory database

Valid driver's license is required

Must pass a background check

Strong written/verbal skills to accurately document

Attention to detail

Able to problem solve and follow detailed instructions

This position requires the physical stamina/ability to perform all aspects of this job (lifting 50+ pounds, bending, kneeling, reaching, standing on your feet throughout the day, etc.)
