Join Our Team at Lucy's Vietnamese – a renowned spot known for its classic Pho and mouth-watering 14-hour smoked brisket! With 5 locations – Bed-Stuy, Bushwick, Williamsburg, East Williamsburg and Ridgewood – we're expanding rapidly and looking for a skilled manager to join us. Role: Assistant Manager Responsibilities: Ensure freshness of ingredients and control food costs Uphold safety and cleanliness standards Improve overall kitchen efficiency Order supplies and equipment, working closely with vendors Store food products safely Document operational procedures Train and mentor junior team members Manage a fast-paced kitchen environment Requirements: 3+ years of experience in fast-casual restaurant management or kitchen management Proven experience in planning menus and ordering ingredients Strong knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety regulations Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills Ability to handle high-pressure situations Flexibility to work evenings and weekends Ideal Candidate: Dependable and detail-oriented Thrives in high-pressure environments Passionate about food and culinary arts Job Details: Full-time position $22/hour, work 50-55 hours per week (overtime paid at 1.5x for hours over 40). 5 paid vacation days, 4 paid holidays, and a quarterly bonus (after 2-month trial period) Restaurant type: Quick service & fast food Shift: 8-10-hour shifts, including weekends Work authorization: United States
