Accounts Payable Analyst

Broad Function and Purpose of Position:The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for vendor maintenance, reconciling vendor accounts and assisting with financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.Specific Responsibilities:Monitor ACH and wire rejections, obtain corrected bank information, reverse rejected payments and ensure reissued payments go out successfully.Responsible for Vendor Maintenance:  setting up/and or confirming new vendors, vendor and banking updates.Research payment issues.Assist with vendor relationships.Run productivity reports and perform analysis.Monitor Open AP report and assist with resolutions to close out open items.Assist in Intercompany Netting related activities as needed.Special Projects as needed.
