Manufacturing Support Supervisor

Job Title: Production PlannerJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our team. This role involves collaborating with customers on mold designs for manufacturing, leading ISO audits, writing SOPs, and guiding the company through MRP implementation. The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams, present mold designs to customers, and travel for technical meetings and molding trials.Responsibilities

Collaborate with existing and new customers on designing molds for manufacturing.

Lead the ISO audit for the Contract Manufacturing division.

Write SOPs, training manuals, and work instructions for the operators.

Guide the company through MRP implementation.

Present mold designs and concepts to customers.

Work with engineering and manufacturing teams.

Perform molding trials and provide customers with solutions for improvements.

Establish a repeatable manufacturing molding process.

Write reports and present results to customers and team members.

Travel to customer sites for technical meetings and onsite molding trials.

Focus on process improvement and project management.

Demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Essential Skills

5+ years of experience in an injection/insert mold design setting.

Experience in writing work instructions.

Proficiency in SolidWorks for all CAD-related activities.

Ability to interact with customers effectively.

Ability to create detailed reports and project timelines.

Capability to work cross-functionally with different personnel and groups.

Proficiency in Microsoft products.
