The Australian Financial Review is seeking a Wealth Reporter with a focus on investing in financial markets and property.This position is open to applicants based in Sydney or Melbourne.Day to day you will:Explore and explain trends and developments in investingRelay and explain those developments to our discerning audience via lively and informative stories furnished with expert commentary, data and case studiesUse data sets, analysts reports and personal contacts to generate story ideas and find compelling ways to tell those storiesMaintain a long list of off-diary story ideas and an equally long list of contacts within the financial advice, investment and shareholder communitiesDevelop an unparalleled understanding of how Australians invest at each stage of their lives, and how we can better serve their needsMeet strict deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom environment
