POSITION SUMMARY: Please submit cover letter and resumeThe Ticket Office Assistant will assist in the day-to-day management of the Ticket Office for the Department of Athletics. This position will assist the Director of Ticket Operations and Assistant Athletic Director of Strategic Ticketing and Sales with ticket sales, customer service and order fulfillment for football, men's basketball, women's basketball and select men's lacrosse games.JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESTicket Sales/Customer Service (90%)Assist with phone, window, and mail orders for all athletic ticketed events using Paciolan software.Provide a high level of customer service to donors, ticket holders, and the general public.Ticket Distribution (10%)Responsible for daily printing and distribution of season, mini-plan, and single game tickets.CONTACTS:Fans, ticket holders, and donors - to sell tickets and process requestsWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL EFFORT: Office environment (sitting, standing, walking, typing)May require work on weekends and nights during football and basketball seasonsQUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge, skills & ability:Must possess good customer service skills and have the ability to write well-crafted, grammatically correct, correspondence with fans, ticket holders, and donors.Knowledge of Paciolan software or related ticket system preferred; must be proficient in Microsoft Office products.Candidates must be highly motivated, energetic and be able to manage a work schedule that includes nights and weekend work.Adherence to all applicable NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations is requiredEducation & experience: A high school diploma, or the equivalent, is requiredBachelor's degree is preferredPrevious experience with ticket operations is idealSalary Range: Hourly non-benefited position. $17 to $19 per hourScheduled Hours: 20 per week. Schedule varies. Some weekend and evenings
