Irrigation Technician
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems on commercial and residential landscape sites. This role requires a mix of technical skills, problem-solving, and the ability to perform tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Functions:
-Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for commercial and residential landscapes.
-Perform system start-ups, blowouts, seasonal adjustments, regular maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues with irrigation components, including controllers, valves, pipes, and sprinklers.
-Monitor and inspect irrigation systems to ensure efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
-Complete various tasks in a timely, efficient, and quality-focused manner while adhering to company guidelines.
-Communicate with clients to assess needs and provide professional recommendations.
-Keep job sites, service vehicle, and backstock area clean and organized, maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions such as leaks, clogs, root pinches, or electrical failures.
Communication: Communicate clearly with clients, supervisors, and scheduling regarding system issues, necessary repairs, and improvements to ensure satisfaction.
Quality Control: Conduct system checks to verify that systems are operating efficiently and adjust accordingly to meet the needs of the landscape.
Documentation: Accurately track and log time, materials, and tasks for billing.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Requirements:
Experience: 3 Years of irrigation installation, service, and maintenance, 3 Years experience in sprinkler blow outs
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
Transportation: Reliable transportation to our office, there is not bus route to our location.
PPE: Must be able to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
Licensing/Certification: Irrigation certifications are a plus, but not required.
