Landscape Laborer (Yampa Lawn Care)
Purpose:
The landscape laborer is responsible for performing a variety of work tasks (generally physical labor) in order to assist with the completion of landscape construction projects and lawn maintenance services. . The landscape laborer will be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specific job tasks.

Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, job sites, and shop/yard areas.
If any equipment or vehicles are not operating correctly please notify immediately.
Effectively produce work
Dig ditches or trenches and perform land-clearing activities.
Maintenance of lawn landscapes (mowing, trimming, leaf blowing, fertilizing, overseeding, aerating, mulching, planting flowers, pulling weeds, etc)
Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required to complete landscape construction projects.
Transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies, and hand lifting/caring.
Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Operate various tools including chainsaws, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, lawnmowers, weed whackers, leaf blowers, etc.
Periodically operate heavy equipment, including skid steers and excavators.

Requirements
GED/school diploma or equivalent
Cell phone
Arrive on time, ready to work, and dressed in uniform.
Perform work efficiently and effectively, required excellence in quality of work.
Ability to walk, stand, crouch, for long periods of time, and carry out strenuous physical tasks.
Desire to embrace and use technology
Valid driver's license and safe driving record
Work conditions
Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Repeatedly through an entire work shift and if any item is over 50 lbs ask for help to lift.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent stamina.
Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis.
Work outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold.
Out of city limit work locations.
