Maintenance Technician

Currently we are seeking a second full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician for our 140-unit community in North Sacramento, CA.

Salary will depend on experience. Housing to be included in compensation.

Duties Include:

Complete apartment work orders accurately and in a timely fashion

Manage vacant apartments by preparing them through the turnover process so apartments are ready to lease for new residents to move in

Keep the grounds free of debris and trash

Provide excellent customer service to residents

Resolve electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs, installations, service, and replacements in a responsible and professional manner that meets industry standards as needed by the apartment community. Including:

o Painting and drywall repair

o Plumbing repairs

o Electrical circuits, receptacles, breakers, switches, and fuses

o Light fixtures

o Installation and minor repairs of appliances such as stoves, refrigerators and dishwashers

o Toilets, sinks, vanities, and disposals

o Clearing drains and sewer lines up to 4'

o Minor carpentry repairs

o Window screens and blinds

o Interior and exterior doors

Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years apartment property maintenance experience

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

High school diploma or equivalent

Available to work a full-time and share an afterhours pager
