Experienced B to B Sales Representative
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop new client relationships by identifying opportunities in key service areas, establishing and building base of Company contacts within those organizations, and positioning the Company to obtain and close on those opportunities.
Build existing client base revenues by presenting new business opportunities beyond existing project scopes, up-selling, and seeking out new sources of revenue from existing clients.
Perform strategic account reviews to identify specific areas for opportunities to clients.
Implement and execute with excellence all business development strategies, programs and services to further enhance the organization’s position in the marketplace.
Utilize corporate and regional marketing programs to develop and generate leads, to include cold calling, networking, and development of contacts.
Conduct sales presentations and informational seminars for prospective clients.
Participate in company-wide marketing activities including focused marketing campaigns.
Conduct follow-up service calls to all clients/accounts on a regular basis.
Cultivate existing client relationships and identify strategic client retention strategies.
Prepare and deliver RFP's, invoices, etc. accurately and timely.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline within the company’s CRM system.
Create forecasts and other analyses comparing revenue to projected goals.
Keep abreast of industry changes; participate where possible in professional organizations directly involved with the company’s prime markets.
Identify and track market trends and perform competitor research and analysis.
Work closely with Marketing Managers and Division Executives on proposals and business development initiatives.
Understand and document client organizational structure and key decision makers to ensure knowledge of account and to be effective in managing account relationships.
Achieve guidelines for maintaining a high level of marketing/sales calls and appointments on a weekly and monthly basis.
Generate, follow up on all leads, and convert viable leads into opportunities.
Attend pre-bid meetings; conduct project walk-throughs and attend sales/marketing networking events.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Sales/Business Development experience with proven track record, preferred in parking, hospitality, healthcare, real estate or related field.
Must submit to and pass a drug screen and criminal background check
Confirmed ability to establish, maintain and retain loyal relationships while successfully managing service requirements of clients is critical for success in this position.
Demonstrated ability to acquire new clients. Strong prospecting skills.
Exceptional relationship development and management abilities.
Must possess excellent communication, analytical, organizational, presentation, and client service skills.
Understand and possess a comprehensive understanding of market competition.
Strong PC skills including intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis a must.
Up to 50% travel required.
