Brick Paver Apprentice needed
Join BK Brick Specialists, a leading company in the Hardscape industry and a Unilock Authorized contractor. We are currently seeking a motivated / moldable apprentice that has a strong work ethic, can take direction & think on their feet to join our team in the west suburbs of Chicago. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in the fresh air with some of the best in the industry. You will report directly to the Production Manager and will be responsible for hardscape installation, maintenance and repairs such as but not limited to; installing paver patios; retaining walls; outdoor features such as firepits and grill islands. We provide professional training to help advance your career!
Tentative full time start date of April 1st
Qualifications
- Farmer mentality – (Up early, work hard, never-give-up attitude, go home and spend time with your family). – a must have
- Strong character skills (honesty and integrity). – a must have
- Good reliable transportation. – a must have
- Ability to read and interpret processes and checklists. – a must have
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new skills – a plus
- 3 or more years' experience in the hardscape industry. – a plus
- Proficiently operates a variety of equipment, including dingo, excavators, plate compactors, grinders, drills, saws. – a plus
- Bi-lingual abilities - a plus
