Music Director for Church part time

For this position experience in directing a volunteer choir is preferred. The ability to learn musical pieces for solo performances and for accompanying choral singing, (choir and/or congregation) on an appropriate instrument – at least a grade 4 or 5 level of instrument competence is desired. One evening rehearsal and Sunday Service required, remaining hours self directed. Total 19-20 hrs/week.

Salary is contingent upon training and relevant experience. Benefit package includes two weeks paid vacation, sick leave, health insurance and retirement after probationary period. Initial contract period will be from April 1 to December 31, 2025 and may be renewed upon agreement of both parties. Candidates from historically marginalized communities are encouraged to apply.
