Paving Foreman - Union Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Paving Foreman to oversee all phases of paving operations, including trench and patch back paving, small and large grind and cap, wide overlays, ensuring projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paving, excellent leadership capabilities and commitment to upholding our company's core values.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct and supervise paving crew's members in the execution of daily operations, including trench excavation, paving and patch back

paving.

- Develop and implement work schedules to ensure timely project completion.

- Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other contractors to facilitate efficient project workflow.

- Ensure all paving activities comply with company polices, safety protocols and governmental regulation.

- Assess site conditions, materials and resources making necessary adjustments to adapt to varying project needs.

- Foster a culture of safety, quality and teamwork. Reinforcing the company's commitment to integrity and excellence.

- Manage Equipment maintenance and logistics, ensuring all tools and machinery are in proper working condition.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the course of paving operations.

- Train, mentor and evaluate crew memebers to promote individual growth and team efficiency.

- Oversee QC, conducting inspections to ensure all work meets our rigorous quality standards.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in paving operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

- Valid Driver's License; CDL preferred.

- Comprehensive knowledge of paving techniques, materials, equipment, and safety procedures.

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift / move heavy objects as needed.

- Solid understanding of local, state and federal safety regulations.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.

- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
