Tour Guide/ Retail associate at Surfing Goat Dairy

Surfing Goat Dairy, located in Upcountry Maui, is growing and looking for Retail Associates and Tour Guides to support its Agritourism business. Purchased in 2023, the new ownership has made continuous improvements to the business, which was recently awarded “Top 10% of things to do worldwide” by Trip Advisor.

Duties:

- Engage with customers to provide a positive experience

- Demonstrate product knowledge and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions with products including our farm tours & experiences

- Operate the Shopify sales and fair harbor reservations systems effectively and accurately

- Maintain a clean and organized store

- Food service tasks like preparing cheese plates and coffees, and supporting and restocking of merchandise

Requirements:

- Strong personal skills to provide exceptional customer service

- Experience in food service and tourism is preferred

- love and appreciation for animals and the outside

- Excellent customer service skills to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly

- responsible and reliable a must

- tour guides must be comfortable and responsible to lead groups up to 30 people

- all training is provided

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Shifts are scheduled between 830am and 530pm Monday to Saturday

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
