Assistant Teacher

At Tangerine Early Learning, our Assistant Teachers play a vital role in creating a warm, engaging, and play-based environment for children (ages 1-5). They support Lead Teachers in implementing activities, fostering curiosity, and ensuring a safe and nurturing classroom, while building meaningful connections with children, families, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and leading play-based, developmentally appropriate activities.

Support a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Engage with children through hands-on learning and daily routines.

Help maintain our spaces with cleanliness

Collaborate with the teaching team and maintain licensing and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Passion for early childhood education and child development.

Ability to connect with young children in a warm, engaging way.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

preferred: Prior experience in a preschool or childcare setting is a plus.

Desire to become Lead Teacher Qualified

Ability to lift 40 lbs.
