Ready to Move Beyond the Line and Step into Leadership?
This isn’t just another kitchen job—it’s an opportunity to grow your career while stepping out of the grind of the traditional restaurant kitchen. We’re looking for someone ready to transition from line cook or chef to a management role, learning the behind-the-scenes of running a food business while maintaining work-life balance and flexibility.
As our Kitchen Manager, you’ll still be hands-on in the kitchen, but you’ll also take on leadership responsibilities that give you a bigger-picture view of operations. If you’re tired of feeling stuck in the back of the house and want to build skills that go beyond cooking, this is your chance to step up.
You must have a drivers license for this position.
What You’ll Be Doing:
-Handling food and inventory shopping (company truck provided)
-Managing stock levels in the food truck, storage, and support kitchen
-Running two 8-hour prep days per week—efficiency and quality are key
-Cooking and pulling 180 pounds of meat per week (must have experience with meat prep)
-Prepping additional items as needed outside of prep days to prevent shortages
-Working 1-2 days in the food truck—getting to see the business in action
-Stepping into leadership by helping cover shifts and keeping operations smooth
-
Who This is Perfect For:
- A line cook or chef who wants to grow into a management role
- Someone ready to step out of slaving away in a restaurant kitchen and gain business experience
- A self-motivated, organized worker who wants more than just cooking
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced but flexible environment
- A problem solver who can manage time, quality, and inventory
-
What We Offer:
- $4,000/month salary plus tips
- Flexible full-time schedule (a mix of prep, truck shifts, and management tasks)
- Company truck provided for shopping and inventory runs
- A leadership role in a growing business—gain real experience in running a kitchen operation
- The chance to step beyond the back of the house and learn what it takes to manage and scale a food business
This isn’t just a job—it’s a stepping stone to bigger opportunities. If you’re ready to grow and take on more responsibility without the burnout of a traditional kitchen job, apply now by sending your resume and experience!
