Education Director, Lead group teacher, After school teacher

Education Director for UPK Daycare

The Education director shall have;

A Baccalaureate Degree in early childhood education or related field of study and New York State Education Department teacher Certification and

At least two years of experience as a group teacher in a program for children under six years of age.

Pending Certifications and/or Approvals from the State Education Department or other accreditation organization will be accepted

Looking to hire 2 staff members to join our Day Care Family( Lead group teacher, & After school teacher )

Must have experience, be energetic, well organized and have leadership skills. A passion for children is a must

Languages: English/ Mandarin

Responsibilities and duties;

Teacher positions

-Supervise children from age 2-5

-Keep classroom clean and organized.

-Create age appropriate lessons.

-Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold & Assessments.

Qualifications and skills

Lead Teacher: Masters/Bachelors in Birth -2 or General Education

(Obtained Certification or presently in Early Childhood Classes)

After school Teacher:

Good language skills, English.

Experience with after school programs

-Fingerprints: DOI & DOE

-Certificates: Infectious Diseases, CPR & First Aide

-Up to date Medical form (within 2 years)

-Three letters of reference (2 professional & 1 personal)
