Commercial Construction Project Manager - Exciting Opportunity

Position Overview:

We are searching for our next Project Manager with demonstrated leadership in all phases of project management. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years experience leading various construction build types such as restaurant (a must), multi-family, commercial building, and possesses strong knowledge of structural concrete, steel, and/or wood frame construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing overall success of multiple projects (planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution) and driving results by partnering with assistant project manager(s), superintendents, estimator, ownership, and clients.

Oversee the overall construction effort to ensure that projects are constructed in accordance with design, established budget, ensuring profit margin, recommend cost reduction initiative while maintaining quality and productivity, focus on schedule efficiency, and individual Subcontractors' Scopes of Work.

Development of multiple project schedules, maintain strong project documentation/reports, accurate project progress, and manage the change orders process as needed.

Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations, building codes, meeting quality standards, and other applicable standards.

Responsible for project planning, material purchasing, and partner with Accounting Team to ensure accurate invoicing.

Manage submittals, tracking and monitoring throughout the bidding, and contract phase.

Communicate regularly with subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, clients, and consultants, to provide updates on project status and address any issues or concerns.

Partner in supporting the Assistant Project Manager, Superintendent, and drive business results and overall success.

Qualifications:

A high school diploma (or equivalent); a college degree in building science, construction management, or engineering is preferred. A relevant combination of education and experience will be considered.

You have a minimum of five years in the commercial construction industry, in the general contractor companies.

Ideal candidates will have experience in fast food, fine dining, multi-family, commercial, tenant improvement, and/or industrial.

You are knowledgeable in computer programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Project, Building Connected, Procore, Smartsheet, PlanGrid, and Viewpoint.

A positive team player who is skilled in communication (both verbal and written), thinks about efficiency and organization, has good math skills, and multi-tasking skills.

Strong ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
