We’re a locally owned fundraising company and we’re looking for a full-time outside sales / event manager to help us continue to grow here in western WA.

We are Custom Fundraising Solutions of Seattle/Tacoma. We are part of a nationwide group that’s raised over $66 million for school groups all across the country over the past 19 years! We opened our doors in Seattle just over 11 years ago and since then we’ve raised local school groups over $1.9 million through our one-of-a-kind fundraising event. Passion, integrity, and service are our guiding principles and we’re looking for others who share in those beliefs.

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others, energetic, an organized multi-tasker, a self-starter with proven experience driving results and achieving goals. This position requires the coordination and hands on involvement in all fundraising and event activities: prospecting and development of new clients, management of existing clients and events, managing resources and logistics, and growing profits. Although some work from home will be permitted, this is NOT a work from home position and requires the movement throughout the assigned territory on a regular basis.

Essential Functions:

Prospecting and solicitation of new sponsors/events

Cultivate relationships with existing sponsors to promote growth

Manage and direct event planning, strategies, best practices, and timelines for successful event outcomes

Manage day of event operations and logistics

Ability to participate in a team environment to improve event performance

Qualifications:

2 – 4 years experience in sales, fundraising, or event management or a combination of like experience (tradeshows, store management, retail, etc.)

Experience in account and project management

Leadership ability with highly developed verbal, written, organization, listening and presentation skills, including proofreading and public speaking

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team

Willingness and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary to carry out responsibilities

Strong commitment to customer service and community relations

Competitive compensation: $80 - $100k
