West Coast Arborists, Inc. is hiring for an entry level Mechanic Assistant to work at Anaheim corporate shop.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Assist and perform maintenance and repairs to all company vehicles and equipment, including parts and inventory as directed.
WORK HOURS
Typically, 6:00a.m. to 4:00p.m., Monday through Friday. Additional overtime hours and Saturday schedules may be required.
SALARY RANGE
Hourly wage is $22.75 up to $31.94 per hour + Fringe Benefits $8.48.
Total Compensation 40.42 D.O.E.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma
Read, speak and write English
Must be physically fit & pass pre-employment physical
A valid Driver’s License
Must pass company driving test
Ability to work in adverse conditions
Reliable transportation
Professional and/or vocational schooling or equivalent (as determined by WCA) related in mechanic areas
Expertise in fleet maintenance
Have own tools
Opportunities to receive training and learn
REGULAR JOB DUTIES
Assist lead mechanics in repairing vehicles and equipment as directed, both at company facility and in field
Performs auto body repairs as directed by Shop Manager and/or Shop Supervisor
Determining priorities, show enthusiasm while working accurately, concentrating amid distractions, remembering details, making decisions, working rapidly but safely, working well with others, work well alone and working under pressure
Perform other tasks and duties as requested
