Job Title: System AdministratorLocation: San Jose, CADirect HireSummaryWe are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in San Jose, CA. This role is critical in maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless system performance to support our mission of delivering high-quality semiconductor services.Responsibilities System Administration: Manage Windows AD, Exchange servers, backups, and security controls. Network Management: Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, and VPNs; troubleshoot issues, and analyze traffic. Security Oversight: Implement security policies, manage access control, and address risks. Help Desk Support: Provide technical assistance, resolve hardware/software issues, document solutions, and ensure service quality. On-call support - Participates in rotating on-call duty for after-hours support.Qualifications Experienced with Microsoft server technologies, including Windows Server AD and Exchange. Experienced in PowerShell/Python, and knowledge of operating systems and Hyper-V. Experienced in managing enterprise LAN, WAN, and voice networks. Experienced in firewall, VPN technologies and cloud technologies. Knowledge of antivirus, spam filtering, and other security applications. Ability to create and maintain technical documentation. Strong analytical abilities and a collaborative mindset to work with the service desk and IT teams.
