Store Manager!
We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-facing store manager to handle the day-to-day of our Cambridge location. We are a locally owned, full-service industrial supply company that prides itself on going the extra mile for our customers. As store manager, you will be the first point of contact for many of our new and existing customers. You will play a key role in the store managing the orders that come in and out of the store to customers in the tri-city area. As customers reach out, you will help quote, order and help coordinate deliveries so that our customers can keep running. We are a smaller team, growing rapidly in the industrial sector. Responsibilities:
Be the friendly first contact for customers both new and existing when they contact the store for inquiries
Manage the store’s inventory as well as pick orders from existing stock
Contact and communicate with customers in person, over the phone or via email
Reach out to our suppliers for quotes as well as manage purchase orders when an order is placed
Prepare and box orders as components arrive
Coordinate deliveries and orders with our drivers and logistics manager
Work with our sales department and other locations to help grow our customer base
Ensure smooth running of the store during normal business hours
Qualifications/Experience:
A customer-facing personality that can welcome customers whether existing or the first time interacting with us
Experience within the bearing and/or industrial supply industry will be given preference
Experience in the managing and operation of a retail location
Experience placing and managing orders with suppliers
Experience managing inventory and stock levels of crucial parts
